Enjoying a steady climb upon the (Murda Beatz produced) street cut Humana ft. Donnie & Smoke Dawg, with his 2017 EP, Bleeding Bull, Jimmy Prime follows up the Gucci Denim video with visuals for another underrated song, Moscow Mule.
Enjoying the fruits of his labour thus far, whilst out in Russia for a performance, the 6’s best kept secret took the opportunity to film the official video in Moscow itself. Utilising not only the name, but the scenery, but it’s unique architectural aesthetics for the laid-back track. Jimmy really made quiet the impression overseas, being tapped to model for a local brand as well as the video itself being directed by local director, Sergey Baloyan. He was able to capture Jimmy in his essence, not only showcasing Moscow but Jimmy Prime also, which some cinematic shots and good use of focus.
It’s another dope offering from the Canadian, who maintains his integrity as he pushes forward with his team that they entered with, rather than the quick jump as part of one of the elite acts’ developing rosters. It is frustrating to see his art being overlooked to such an extent, but the belief is there that it will pay dividends, the championship trophy tatt’ will all make sense in due time.
