Fat Joe – So Excited ft. Dre

Joey Crack is no stranger to a hit record, with one of the biggest singles of 2016 (the Remy Ma collab, All The Way Up), he returns for his solo joint, So Excited.

Produced by Miami production duo, Cool & Dre, and featuring the latter, the catchy anthem will sure to bubble, as Joe adds another quality cut to his discography of notable and underrated anthems.

With the classic Dennis Edwards sample, So Excited has that bounce to it, and add the infectious hook, it’s a recipe for a banger. More so I’m pleased for Dre, who has been overlooked for years as an artist in his own right, I’m one of the few still waiting for his 2006 debut (The Trunk) which never materialised. Hopefully this upbeat number helps bring him back, as it certainly maintains Fat Joe as one of the most consistent Hip-Hop hit-makers.

Expect bad bitches and luxury vehicles, with the larger than life cameo from DJ Khaled, and even an appearance from Ms Nikki Baby (of Love and Hip-Hop fame)

Something BRAND NEW from Trey Songz

Trey Songz has not had the kind of success that was expected of him when he first came in onto the scene, but that does not mean he has not been successful, an undeniable talent, Trey returns with his third album READY.

The first release from READY is Brand New, which shows Trey and his swagger on point.

The track is actually catchy, it is clear that the ladies are in his sights as he goes in on this one.

Video, features live footage from a recent performance so expect cameos from Jim Jones, Fat Joe, Shawty Lo, Angel Love, Drake, B. Cox and Young Jeezy, It’s more of a promotional single and actually creates the buzz he needs as he prepares to unleash his new album.

Fat Joe – One ft. Akon

Joseph Cartegena better known as Fat Joe returns with the first single of his new album ‘Jealous Ones Still Envy 2 (J.O.S.E. 2)‘.

The new single ‘One‘ features Akon (a man who definitely knows a thing or two about hit records), ‘One’ to me is like the previous release ‘I Won’t Tell’ but on steroids, it’s another one for the ladies but the content has gone from showering a beauty with luxuries to Joe appreciating his only lady for holding him down throughout their struggles.

Produced by ‘The Inkredibles‘, who give the song that ‘street’ edge with Akon increasing it’s commercial status whilst sounding raw like only he can (as previously heard on Young Jeezy – Soul Survivor and 50 Cent – I Still Kill).

In all honesty when i first heard the track I kind of slept on it, it sounded like the typical street song and then threw Akon on the hook for it to be a hit, but after a few more listens it became clear that the song does possess substance. ‘One’ is a good look for Fat Joe and shows promise for his already long and successful career.
